Hope for Life Foundation (HLF) is a Daycare and Rehabilitation Centre dedicated to supporting children with special needs through education, therapy, care, and meaningful opportunities for growth. With our move to a new premises at a new location, HLF has entered an exciting new chapter, offering our students a brighter, more spacious, and well-equipped environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn.
HLF was established with the aim of making quality education, rehabilitation, and care accessible to children whose families may not have the resources to afford private schools and therapies. The foundation provides these essential services free of cost, including special education, allied healthcare therapies, uniforms, shoes, academic supplies, nutritious meals, and pick-and-drop facilities. More than providing services, our goal is to create an environment where every child feels valued and is given the opportunity to reach their individual potential.
The foundation provides a welcoming and well-planned environment that supports students’ educational, physical, and emotional development. It includes an assembly area where students begin their day with morning assembly and group activities, a play area where they participate in sports, games, and physical exercises to improve fitness and coordination, and an audio-visual room where students enjoy educational content, entertainment, and relaxation activities that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
Well-organized classrooms are thoughtfully designed, decorated, and furnished with specially designed furniture and appropriate academic resources to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment. Our special educators work closely with students throughout the day, engaging them in a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities based on their individual abilities, learning needs, and developmental goals.
Remedial education, also known as academic support or academic upgrading, helps students develop essential skills in key areas such as literacy, numeracy, communication, and comprehension. This individualized approach focuses on each student’s unique needs and abilities, helping them reach their fullest developmental potential and acquire the skills and confidence needed to participate more independently and meaningfully in an inclusive society.
Our reception area serves as a warm, welcoming, and well-organized first point of contact for parents, visitors, and guests. Designed with a comfortable waiting space and an information desk, the reception provides a friendly environment where parents can receive guidance, information, and assistance regarding the foundation’s services, programs, schedules, and activities. Our reception team is committed to ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed, valued, and supported from the moment they arrive.
Occupational therapy that enable children to participate in the activities of everyday life, which include day-to-day tasks such as self-care, work or leisure. Sensory integration therapy that helps children learn to use all their senses together. This therapy aids in processing sensory information by minimizing challenging or repetitive behaviours.
Speech therapy that works on speech, language, social communication, voice, fluency and feeding disorders, thus improving communication for better expression of thoughts and feelings.
Physiotherapy that focuses on gross motor functions, strength, balance and coordination for independent mobility, thus boosting confidence in children.
Remedial education, also known as academic upgrading, assists students to achieve expected competencies in core academic skills such as literacy and numeracy. This special education focuses on the needs of individuals to reach their greatest evolutionary potential and gives them the skill to perform within an inclusive society.
A computer lab with a well-trained instructor where students receive computer technology training that equips them with work readiness skills and also fosters critical thinking, independence, and problem-solving.
Our multidisciplinary foundation is purely based on a goal of uplifting our differently abled children in order to make them capable of surviving independently in modern society.
