The parent’s teacher meeting is an important part of a student’s life. It invites parents to see the progress and shed light on the progress of a child.
The HLF foundation also held a PTM in the campus which was held on April 8, 2023. The meeting was held from 8:30am to 1:30pm.
The teachers and therapists all held a direct conversation with the parents of differently abled children at the HLF and discussed the academic progress, progress in occupational, physical and speech therapies, classroom activities and participation, home plans timely assessments and the interaction of them with teachers as well as friends at the campus.
Following are the details of PTM held at HLF

  1. The Meetings held had a 15-20 minutes session with child of each parent.
  2. Parents were given an opportunity to ask questions and discuss their child’s progress.
  3. Parents also gave suggestion regarding the things they thought should be encouraged or provided at the campus.
  4. The Occupational Therapists discussed the child’s performance in terms of improved ADL, sensory issues and performance of independent tasks as per need. The Occupational therapist discussed and shared mediations and interventions to get the most benefit from occupational therapy not only at campus but also at home.
  5. The speech therapist individually informed the parents about each child’s speech and language progress and the interventions needed to make the outcomes of speech therapy more beneficial and fruitful.
  6. The physical therapists discussed and briefed the parents about the physical health and improvement interventions to make the child physically fit and mobile as much as possible so that the functional activities can be performed by the child by himself.
  7. The special educators provided to parents clear explanations of student performance in class in terms of academics, including behavior, participation, activities and interactions with others in the class and other activities.
  8. The remedial teachers also discussed the problems faced by students who are weaker than their other age group students. They discussed learning strategies and teaching methods to make them understand the academic lessons more easily with a little extra focus and attention. The parents were also briefed about the progress and issues of those students who were under the supervision of remedial teachers.
