Pattern tracing activity performed in Occupational Therapy session with preschool children and toddlers is a complex skill which helps a child learn from simple to advanced tasks through tracing various shapes, numbers, alphabets and patterns. Tracing pattern on board is an easy and simple way to teach your child various objects and prepare them for advanced learning skills.
Pattern tracing board activity is beneficial in a number of ways:
• It helps build fine motor skills
• Serves as a tool for prewriting skills
• enhances concentration and focus
• Improves visual spatial skills
• Promotes creativity and drawing skills in children
2. Money management
Money management is an important life skill which must be taught to children early in age it helps them to become self-dependent and learn financial skills that are used in everyday life for buying and selling purpose. Keeping in vie the same objective HFL arranged a n activity for their differently abled children in adult age group to help them learn and acquire the money management skills.
The children were interactively involved in the counting, managing and dealing of money matters through role play activity at the campus.
3. PHYSIOTHERAPY INSIGHT
Gait training on parallel bar with KAFOs (Knee Ankle Foot orthosis) is done for those with severe motor paralysis, leading to an increased ability to walk independently. KAFO provides adequate stability of the knee and foot during the stance phase of the gait cycle thus facilitates gait function recovery in patients with hemiplegia and various lower limb deformities.
4. Sitting tolerance skills can help children
