World Physical Therapy Day is observed every year on 8th September. In 1996, 8th September was designated as World PT Day. This is the date World Confederation of Physiotherapy was founded in 1951.

This day is acknowledged worldwide to raise awareness about the crucial contribution of the physical therapists to keeping people well, mobile and independent. It is an opportunity to recognise the work that physiotherapists do for their patients and community.

Hope For Life Foundation celebrated World Physical Therapy day with great zeal and zest by focusing specially on Pediatric Physical Therapy that helps children to make everyday tasks easier through motor development and help them move their body to the best of their abilities.

Our celebration included an awareness session regarding role of physical therapy in our society conducted by Dr. Kiran Amin. Moreover an awareness walk was carried out with all the students, staff and management accompanied by appealing posters made by students and staff.
